Towns for sale… !!

Do you want to own a town in US (having  a zip code only for you). You might think I am insane, but this thing is real. Two towns in the United States of America with a very low population are right outside for sale. One among them is Buford town in Wyoming state.it is the smallest town in the country. The second one is Pray town in Montana. Buford town is on auction for  a minimum bid of 100,000$ and Pray is on the market for $1.4 million.

Both are western towns and Buford consists of more than ten acres of land, a gas station, a convenience store, a school, five post boxes, a three bed room apartment and a mobile tower in it. It is owned by a man named Don Sammons. He is the only inhabitant on the town since his spouse died and his son shifted his house to a new town.

Buford township was established in the year1866.There were more than 2000 people in Buford in early nineteenth century. Most of them came for the work of laying the rail lines and almost all people had returned to their respective towns upon completion of the job. Don Sammons and his wife Terry came to Buford in 1980 looking for a relaxed and luxurious life.

He has lived there for more than three decades and is now leaving town. He is planning to move on to Colorado’s Front range so that he can leave near his son. The town has been lying un noticed for more many years and now it is gaining the world’s attention.

The Pray town was formerly known as the paradise valley.it is located in Montana and is having five acres of land, a few commercial buildings, a trailer court and a post office. The current owner Barbara Walkers is planning to sell the town for 1.4 million dollars.

The town was named after a congressman; Charles N Pray and it was purchased by the late husband of Mrs. Walker in 1953.She is a professional photographer. Her husband died in 2006 and now she is tired with the solitary life and is now about to sell the town.
